Di-in ba ini? Po dako? Po guti? Is that brown beauty yours? There was a dog who looked exactly like the one here in your photographs, who strayed into our home one Christmas eve in Marasbaras, Tacloban. My kids kept him as their friend and pet, and called him Nicko. Sadly though, Nicko disappeared a year after and we never saw him since. Gerry, when was your last visit to Hinunangan, my hometown?

Hi Belle! Pics were taken at Doña Martha Botique Resort in Tahusan Beach, Hinunangan last March 02, 2008. Butch - of mix labrador-husky(?) lineage - is the pet of Morris, the proprietor of Doña Martha Botique Resort.

My family just came back today from a 3-day vacation in San Pedro Island (Isla Cabugan Grande), Hinunangan. It was a great summer respite! Will post pics soon. :)

Gerry, sisters and I were in thisTahusan resort last summer, but we only had lunch at their restaurant. They served us a sumptuous meal. By the way, why do you seem to have an affinity with Hinunangan? Have you got relatives there?

Hahaha you're the 2nd person to have asked me that. :) Nope, I have no affinity with the place (my father hails from Nueva Ecija; my mom from Palo.) It's just that I first heard about the twin islands some 10 years ago when the Abuyog-Silago road was non-existent yet and our plans to go there would always be canceled, until last year. And we were not disappointed!
