for everyone
Deep into the forested heartland of Picop's timber concession in Bislig, Surigao del Sur, one will find the grandest and most majestic waterfalls I've ever seen in the Philippines. It's moniker "Little Niagara Falls of the Philippines" speaks for itself. Read more at http://gerryruiz.wordpress.com/2008/05/01/tinuy-an-falls-bislig-surigao-del-sur/

Tinuy-an Falls is in Brgy. Burboanan, Bislig City, Surigao del Sur, about 45 minutes drive from the poblacion of Bislig. Bislig is 158 kms south of Butuan, 152 kms south of Tandag City (the capital of Surigao del Sur) and 208 kilometers northeast of Davao City. There are Bachelor buses from Davao (or from Butuan, I'm not sure, tho.) which ply the route to Bislig. It's a roughly 5-hr ride from Davao...

this is especially impressive!! did you have to crouch somewhere or lie down on your tummy to get this quite amazing shot??

Hi Frances! Hehe nope I didn't lie down on my tummy but I had to bring down the tripod to a low, low level to get the angle shot I wanted. Thanks for the comment. :)

A beautiful place, and equally beautiful photography. Not only you capture the scenic shots, you also include the little stories in them, -The people on the upper right corner, are they close to the edge of the falls or not?

Thanks for sharing.
